Call to Help the People of Myanmar After the Earthquake
Namo Shakyamuni Buddha.
Dear all, as reported by the press, Myanmar (a Buddhist country) has recently been severely affected by a 7.7-magnitude earthquake. In the spirit of compassion of the Buddha's disciples, Venerable Tánh Mẫn and Vườn Sala call on all Buddhists to join hands and contribute whatever they can to support the people of Myanmar.
The funds raised will be sent to a fellow nun (Sister Liên Viên) who is studying in Myanmar, to carry out what is needed depending on the actual situation (possibly essential supplies, food, medical supplies, …).
Contributions to this appeal are accepted for 3 days from the day the appeal was sent: from 31 March 2025 (the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month, year Ất Tỵ) until 8:00 pm on 2 April 2025 (the 5th day of the 3rd lunar month, year Ất Tỵ).
