In The Noble Eightfold Path: The Way to the End of Suffering, Bhikkhu Bodhi examines each of the eight factors of the path – right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration – and the development of wisdom, using the Buddha's own words from the Sutta Pitaka of the Pali Canon, largely those found in Ven. Nyanatiloka's anthology The Word of the Buddha, and drawing on the commentaries.
